Next-generation programming language founded by the creator of Kotlin
We usually respond within a week
CodeSpeak is a next-generation programming language founded by the creator of Kotlin. It's based on plain English and will replace the likes of Python and TypeScript in production-grade software development. Imagine not having to spell out anything obvious and anything that’s been programmed a million times before. Imagine stepping up to the level of essential complexity only. This is CodeSpeak’s vision. It’s a bold goal, but we’ve done impossible things before, and we believe it can be done.
You’ll be working alongside experts in programming languages, AI, and large-scale systems. If you are curious, driven and love programming, we’ll help you learn what we know.
Requirements
You need to be able to pick new things up quickly and take constructive feedback well.
You need to have done extensive coding projects of any kind: school, hobby, work — anything.
You need to know and use cutting-edge AI-enabled coding tools.
If you have recent interesting code to show us, it would be a plus.
You need to be good at programming and have a solid understanding of basic SE/CS concepts, such as:
why DRY matters, how recursion works, why people use thread pools,
why DBs use transactions, why O(N^2) is often a red flag, etc.
If you’ve never looked into compilers or programming language design, we’ll help you learn. We do expect you to be able to look into questions like “why does C++ have virtual base classes?” or “how do generic type constraints and variance work in TypeScript?” and come back with a functional understanding of the matter the next day.
We don’t care what tech stack you know best — we expect candidates to pick up new tools quickly. Whichever stack you are familiar with, we expect you to understand its internals to some degree. Good engineers peek under hoods :)
